Spanishland School es un programa excelente. Es exactamente lo que yo he deseado por mucho tiempo. Para mi, es perfecto. Ofrece lecciones bien organizadas y explicadas con muchas actividades diferentes e interesantes. Andrea, tú eres una maestra brillante. Introduces la información en una manera muy clara y en un orden perfecto. Aprecio los recursos interesantes y los podcasts estimulantes.

Hace cinco años me topé con un video en YouTube en el que una joven estaba visitando un molino de caña de azúcar en Colombia. Este molino pertenecía a su abuelo y ella estaba explicando el proceso. Para mí, este tema era muy interesante, pero lo que llamó mi atención fue la manera en que ella hablaba. Aunque solo había estado estudiando español por poco tiempo, ¡pude entender casi todas las palabras! The Spanishland Parcero Membership is a fantastic course for intermediate and advanced Spanish language learners. It is the perfect compliment to my weekly sessions with a Spanish tutor. I love the deep dives we take into the subtleties of grammar, expressions, and vocabulary and the option for lots of practice and review. Andrea is a gifted teacher who can clearly explain tricky concepts. My ability to speak and understand Spanish has greatly improved with the help of this wonderful course.

Before joining in 2019 I listened to the Spanishland Podcast. Andrea and Nate were so inspiring. The Parcero Membership is well organized and entertaining and the entire staff is skilled and professional. Andrea is a great teacher and you can tell her heart and soul are sincerely enthusiastic and committed. I also do the one-on-one conversation classes with Paula; very helpful. She is a delight. Recomiendo este curso en línea sin dudas ni vacilaciones para estudiantes de intermedio o alto nivel que quieren mejorar sus habilidades para hablar, escuchar y escribir español. Había estado hablando mal español durante muchos años antes de decidir a mejorar mi español en 2021. Desde entonces he estado estudiando español con Spanishland School y mi nivel del idioma ha mejorado enormemente. Como todas las cosas en la vida, el ritmo de mejora depende del esfuerzo del estudiante. También es importante descatar que para mejorar más rápido es necesario hacer cosas además de las clases de Spanishland School en línea. No es tan fácil como se dicen en los anuncios de Duolingo, Babbel, etc. Pero en mi opinión participar en Spanishland School es el más importante además de ser muy divertido.

I just want to say again what a great online learning experience you offer. Sometimes it’s difficult to keep motivated to continue learning but this is the longest time I’ve stuck to a plan. After my end of month free group call with Diana last week my motivation was back and I’ve signed up to more group lessons and an individual one too.

If you are interested in learning Spanish better if you know a little then Andrea Alger and her spouse Nate run a great program. Andrea is a great teacher. En mi casa se dice que Andrea es la reina de Español. So give Spanishland a try if you want to become a better Spanish speaker. The Parcero Membership provides a complete program for getting there.

I highly recommend the Parceros Membership because of its excellent instruction, variety of materials and activities, and the personal attention paid to each student by the Spanishland staff. When I joined, I was achieving at an advanced beginner level and was looking for a way to increase my comprehension and fluency. The structured weekly activities and Zoom lessons (taught by Andrea, a fabulous teacher!) have helped me to read, write, and speak at a much higher level. Try it for a month, and you won't look back!

I joined as a low intermediate student. I had studied but couldn't speak or understand well. Andrea is a wonderful professor. I can clearly understand her. She is enthusiastic and encouraging. I want to attend class. I want to do the homework. My favorite part of the program is the 45-minute monthly small group calls with students from around the country and the world. I enjoy practicing in a welcoming environment and meeting other people on the same journey I am on with Spanish. I have been to Colombia twice with Spanishland. This program is amazing, and a worthy investment of your time and money!

I became a Parcero 1.5 year ago after listening to Españolistos podcast for several months. The way Andrea and Nate present and deliver the most challenging materials is so charming that you don’t realize how much you are actually learning. I love studying and always look for a structure and some kind of system to achieve the best results. Here I found exactly what I need- a goal, clear agenda, effective task-based teaching approach with a variety of skills acquisition opportunities and a very friendly fun environment. I joined this membership after doing the intensive summer course. I really like all the content and the live classes always are very informative. I still struggle with speaking but the end-of-the-month Zoom calls help a lot! Also, the podcast is easy to understand and so much fun! Sometimes I feel bad for Nate when he makes some mistakes but I feel for him! What is most impressive is that it all is a family business, everybody works together, and me as a student have already learned a lot in those few years I've been a parcera!

I joined the membership because I needed to hear Spanish spoken by a native at a pace that I can understand. I have learned to read Spanish well but I want to learn to understand and speak conversational Spanish. SpanishLand School gives me the opportunity to listen to a native speaker, to repeat parts of a recording for more clarity, and to write and speak with corrections. I don’t always keep up with all the lessons but I do it when I can. Nate and Andrea are both very personal and helpful so that I am learning Spanish on my own schedule.

Parceros es un programa increíble. Tiene todo que necesitas para mejorar tu comprensión de la lengua, la estructura de la gramática, como hablar correctamente y fluidamente, y cosas así. El programa es completo: Andrea y Nate y el equipo tiene lecciones de gramática, canciones, entrevistas, documentales. Y todos tienen preguntas de comprensión. Las clases vivas siempre son fascinantes y muchísimo útiles. Cada mes ellos tienen un tema diferente para mejorar un área de la lengua. No hay nada aun cerca disponible en el internet. Ha hecho una gran diferencia en mi vida.

I have been a Parcero for almost a year now and it has been the best investment I have made in my Spanish learning journey. My officemate at work who is native Spanish speaker has been commenting how much better I have become and it's all thanks to Andrea and her amazing team. Her videos and podcasts are terrific and the online content is phenomenal. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to improve their intermediate Spanish and take it to the next level.

I really recommend the Parcero membership. I don't always have time to commit to learning Spanish grammar, but the membership is set up, so you can go at your own pace and take the classes and quizzes when you have time. If you want more, they have live classes and tutors as well as book clubs. I love the speaking class at the end of the month where I can also get to know other students. I went on one of the immersion trips and loved it! My favorite thing was meeting the whole family in Bucaramanga. Check it out for yourself!

I’m a retired ESL teacher and am fairly critical of language teaching programs. Learning another language is the hardest intellectual challenge I’ve ever attempted.

I’ve tried other programs. They have not met my expectations. But this program has exceeded my expectations in every way. It is well thought out and organized, challenging yet very comprehensible. I would highly recommend it to anybody.

Estoy aprendiendo muchisísimo con las lecciones de gramática y los ejercicios de escucha son exactamente lo que necesito para mejorar mi comprensión auditiva en español. Aprecio mucho que todas las lecciones de gramática y todos los ejercicios de escucha tienen pruebas que puedo tomar para determinar cuánto entendí de la lección de gramática o del ejercicio de escucha. Lo que a mí me encantan el más con la membresía de Parceros son todos los interesantes ejercicios de escucha y las clases en vivo sobre gramática. Si usted habla español como idioma extranjero, su nivel es intermedio alto o mejor y quiere tener un plan estructurado cada mes para mejorar su español, no puedo recomendar la membresía de Parceros suficientemente. Vale mucho la pena.
